But at the curve and swivel of tiger ears, he could hear the answering whisper, wrinkling his nose in response. “Cute?” Hands moved to sprinkle some more reasoning into the skillet, listening to the oil as the heat stoked, and another measure of speculations ran through the General’s mind. “Have a number of them now – eagle, bear, tiger, seal,” beginning to rattle them off on his fingers. “Hellhound and thunderbird.” Unaware of another one pending through his blood, latent and untapped for the instant, he relinquished another smile in her direction. “And what about your other talents?”
