From being an Abandoned who had rarely left the Hollowed Grounds, to embracing the call of adventure, to dying and being reborn first as an Ascended and then as an Ancient, Maea has gone through quite the amount of changes in her life. One thing remains common, though, in her attempts to find out just where she belongs; she’s always had a craving for knowledge which has brought her to so many places and to meet so many people here in Caido. We can’t wait to see what else is in store for her!

When you're standing at the crossroads & don't know which path to choose
A worry from one of the farmers draws Tobi's attention to an interesting issue. Just because they'd provided each field with a map didn't mean that they were easily identifiable as they were. After a bit of quick thinking and some discussion with her NPC counterpart, the duo decided on a coloured-flag and simple image system.
Grabbing some dye and a brush, the doctor began to quickly label a number of different coloured flags., This way the fields could be identified without the map and from a distance, and, if they used the same flags for each field, could be rotated with their flags with relative ease.

Tangled nets is unfortunately something that Yuna is used to, given the nature of where she lives (i.e. an ocean with a current). Her helpers seem to have it covered, though, and so rather than risking tangling it further by adding more hands to the mix, she swims up to the surface to collect the ropes, pointing out where best to place them to keep the fishery enclosures separate.
Providing her group agrees - because this isn't just her fishery, after all - the mermaid will swim through and over each marked enclosure to ensure the ropes are tied appropriately. How are the nets looking? she calls to her helpers as she works. Once they are untangled we can start finishing this up!
the first cut was the deepest, but it healed up whole
Thankful for the help from Deimos, his group finds relief with his quick ability to help, hoisting the newly made timber into place, giving enough time for them to finish up the rest of the house. And with that complete, well, there’s a bit of a mess left around (tools and bits of wood that’s been previously trimmed). For the most part, though, everything looks like it’s come together nicely.
Quick thinking and dye and brush work, makes the flags come together easily – the workers more than happy to go around and label each field, referring to the map to ensure they’ve gotten it right. And once they’re done, much like Deimos’ group, all that’s left is cleaning up the paint and supplies.
The tangled nets are fixed with dexterous hands and soon enough, the ropes are placed. There isn’t a whole lot left to do for Yuna and her group aside from gathering the caught fish to be used for the start of the fishery and separating them out and ensuring they have everything they need to finish up the fishery.
Out on the treeline, Sunjata’s managed to fix up the sad looking saplings with a bit of fertilizer and water, and with the help of his group he adds the transplanted yearling trees – rows and rows of them, also given fertilizer and a bit of his magic to get them started and hopefully keep them healthy. All that’s left for his group is a final row of the older trees, ones a few years old that he hopes and prays to Frey don’t die from the shock of the transplant.

A sigh of relief rumbled through his chest as everything shifted and worked together thereafter – the house complete, the timber slid into place, the workers sharing their own consolations in subtle smiles. Thereafter, his eyes cast along the outskirts, the trimmings, and the other bits and pieces left around in calls to action and quick movements. “We can pick these up,” as a last round of effort towards the others.
He did the same, following after steads, grabbing hold of hammers, nails, and the like, before incantations snagged at various bits of wood, permitting them to follow him in floating, Air enchantments. They could be added to a pile, presuming, given the current climate and elements, they’d want some measures of kindling for fires.

Tobi is certainly one to appreciate the deep muscle ache that comes from a hard day's work and today is certainly no exception. Having learned a good deal more about agriculture than she'd expected, it's with laughter on her lips and a heaviness in her feet that she and her NPC crew begin to wind things down.
A third of the group began to sweep and clear the pathways created between the fields, while another group cleaned up the supplies which had been needed for the creation of flags. The final group found some drinks and snacks which they passed out as a thank you (and a medical precaution against fainting or heat exhaustion). "Well team, I think we've done it!" Tobi cries chipperly despite her fatigue before making one final circuit of the fields to make sure that nothing was missed.

Proud of her little team's efforts, Yuna helps to tack up the nets across the posts until she's certain that they are secure enough. The fish won't escape but they'll have plenty of room to swim about and do... whatever the landwalkers want to do with a fishery. It's true that the Mer very likely have something similar, but for this Mer, it's treading new water ground.
Once the nets are in place, she surfaces and waves a hand to get the attention of the rest of her group who are still on the riverbanks. "I think we're ready for the fish!" she advises them, happy to navigate through each enclosure to pinpoint where they should be released. And once it's all done and the schools of fish are settling, Yuna does feel a small point of pride.
"I think we're good over here," she calls to Sunjata, wherever he might be.

It doesn’t take long for Deimos and his group to clean everything up, a section made for the pile of kindling that would become quite handy given the climate – and something that’s appreciated by those within the Sword’s group.
On October’s side of things, clean up and pathway clearing goes swiftly, everything placed back in their locations – the main map placed in the space where they can always refer to it if someone has forgotten their copy. And once that’s done, the snacks and drinks are well received, bright smiles despite their exhaustion accompany the fields group.
The fishery finishes up nicely as well. Yuna’s group works together to be able to place the ropes and the fish within each section they should be in – some of her helpers ensuring that they can get some of the fish within it starting off well so that when the safe haven begins they have a good pool to run with, as they do have time to make adjustments if necessary. But the space as is has become the perfect spot.
Sunjata manages to get the larger trees into place, gathering his group to break for drinks and snacks as well by the time Yuna’s captured his attention. A bright and tired smile is offered to the Mer, and further appreciation is offered for everyone else that’s joined in to help make this a reality.
So when everyone’s gathered, Sunjata tries to ensure they understand how thankful he is, despite having little to nothing to pay them back with. “Thank you so much for the help.” He starts, moving over to the little table beside the water (considerate of the Mer) full of more drinks and food (plenty enough to be scooped up and taken back home should anyone not wish to stay longer; Sunjata wouldn’t blame them after all the hard work put in.) “Please indulge, get your strength back, and if you'd like to, when you go back home spread the word of this place for any of those you think might be interested.”
Whether they stay or don’t is no mind to Sunjata, not now that he can turn this in to Frey.
