There are plenty of rich ladies in the city that would pay quite handsomely for exotic goods they can't find elsewhere. Particularly if they're of especially fine craftsmanship."
Once she majority of the grime was rinsed off the shield, she lifted it into the light to examine it. The sun, despite doing little to warm the chilly air, glinted brightly off the newly cleaned surface. The shield would need a proper polish once she got it back home, but the gritty part of the job was done. She nodded in approval.
