Amanda looked around, nodding in approval. This was just the sort of thing she'd had in mind.
When Hadama asked for a light, she pulled open her backpack and dug around for her lantern, flint, and tinder. With a few strikes of the flint she lit the lantern. She floated it in front of her with her telekinesis, letting the flickering light cascade over the stone walls.
As they moved inward, Amanda made careful note of the shape of the cave and the paths that Hadama guided her along, doing her best to memorize how to avoid the rocks. "Don't suppose you can teach me that water trick?" she asked. "Sure would be a handy kind of magic in my line of work."
