He could live with Noah's lack of response to his offer, but when Deimos glossed over it too the courier visibly deflated. He just nodded glumly to the Warden's suggestion of summoned animals and resolved to keep his mouth shut going forward. It wasn't an easy thing, having a great deal of respect and admiration for the man who had become his best friend while at the same time realizing that as long as Deimos was around, his contributions were about as helpful as a piece of wet tissue paper.
