It was one of the nicer days out. And so, the white rabbit had decided to sunbathe. It had a favorite rock to do so. Was warm, and out in the open. Why was being out in the open important to this rabbit?

The scent of humans filled the rabbit's delicate nose. Smell from above? It looked up at the sky to find a bird. It smelled of human. It stared at the bird, watching it circle. A hunt? More human smell. In front was a human doe. She had a pointy stick and string. It watched as she pulled it back, then let go. The pointy stick was headed towards it.

The white rabbit sprang into action, grabbing the arrow from the air and snapping it into two. It then looked at the human doe and lunged towards her neck. The humans weren't the only hunters here.
And the rabbit wanted to be in an open spot for such a reason.
