The rabbit, strange as it was, had somehow managed to break a shooting arrow in half and was now lunging at a fully grown woman? The hawk had of course heard of animal's acting strangely, but this was just plain ludicrous. Shooting forward with his talons extended, Remi as a hawk would try and assist the huntress's efforts to eviscerate the creature. Given its focus on Vai, Remi judged it should be fairly simple to grasp the creature's neck in his formidable talons and tear it from her.
