REXANNA FOR A TIME IT SEEMED TO ME, THAT WE WERE STARLIGHT-TOUCHED. FAILING TO REALIZE THAT WE WERE STARCROSSED, She snorted in response to him, nodding in agreement to his statement. “You’re right about that.” She acknowledged, grinning to him in response. A small laugh bubbled out of her lips at his wink, and she was about to tell him that she was happy for him despite it, even if she thought it was a ridiculous idea. But there was no going back, was there? So she let him know about what the fangs did, and watched as he almost whispered in a playful tone toward her. Her sapphire gaze slipped up to his dark gaze and she eyed him in a playful skeptical way as he leaned down toward her and took a lock of her hair. A small shiver ran down her spine, but she nodded nonetheless. “Well, you have to experience it sometime, right?” She said quietly, a smirk crossing her features before she reached up and took his hand that had been playing with her hair and locked her fingers with it. Rexanna kept her hand in his, guiding him through her makeshift home. Past the kitchen and the living area, slipping up the stairs toward the bedrooms and when she had reached her own with the blankets made of soft velvet and the pillows with their featheriness, she let his hand go. “It’s not much but it’s cozier than the corridor.” She laughed, inhaling deeply then sighing quietly. “And if you do make me pass out at least I’ll be comfortable.” She offered, flashing him a wink as she stepped away from him to remove her coat. She stood there then, turning to face him in only a nightgown with a small smirk of a smile on her face. THE STARS WERE NEVER ON OUR SIDE.
