It's a lot that Anju says, but all the ears of those skulky few who had asked hear, is that no, soldiers wouldn't come after them. They'd be on their own with a city about to collapse, but...you know, no risk, no reward.

Thus the looting of Stormbreak begins. Between the Skyships and those huddled in the plaza, Anju has managed to keep safe about 80% of Stormbreak. A good many perished in the initial departure, not that she could have done anything about that, though at least 5% are now sifting into the city, taking, looting, and profiting from this shocking turn of events.

Anju

They leave to loot and raid, and Anju doesn’t even care. 80% is still 80%, and she can’t risk what few soldiers she has left in the Plaza on petty crime. Not when she’s certainly no architect, and has no idea how unstable the houses remain.

Lena returns with the unicorns, and Anju doesn’t even attempt to disguise her relief as she raises a hand from a distance as the Caretaker passes by. “Any injured individuals please make a smaller group over here to my left!” She has no way of knowing the offer of the unicorns, but now that all the chaos has calmed, it’s time to tend to their wounded.

Thank you came from the Caretaker, nodding towards the unicorns, hoping the gratitude and acknowledgment of their kindness and benevolence could be rendered wholly through the Attuned measures and bonds.

Quickly and swiftly, she hastened towards and through the crowds, eyes searching and scanning for any of the seriously wounded. Cupping her hands around her mouth, and hoping her calm presence would still buoy through a slightly raised voice, “If anyone needs to be healed, the unicorns in the Celestine are willing!” Then she could easily lead them back through to the gardens, and perhaps, some things would be well again.

80% is 80%, and in the days and weeks to come, those numbers won't lie. It's a job well done by the soldier all in all, and that a few of the looters died beneath the rubble as they were stealing precious artifacts? So be it. Anju has done all that was never asked of her, and everything we could have expected.

As Lena leads a few of the unicorns back to the plaza, those citizens who have remained are healed until the Caretakers' careful guidance.

And then it happens.

The city stops. Some 5 or so kilometres above the sea, Stormbreak has...well, not landed per say, but settled. The Righteous Road is now a conglomeration of floating tiles leading up to the city. There is much for Lena and Anju to do now that order can be restored, but for a few seconds at least, they can breathe a sigh of relief.
