[Training] Beautiful flaws

Sam had laid out a selection of his tools in preparation for Maea's arrival. Paper, pens, thread, leather. All the things he used daily and held dear, that now he was going to show to someone else. He smiled to himself; he had become the old man who had once shown him these skills, who had gently shown the quivering teenager he had been the way to make art. The way to channel his fears into beauty. It felt good to be giving that gift on. Of course, there would be extra challenges with Maea. She could not read, was half-blind.
