Melita is neither soldier, nor medic, but she ran anyway – hastening across docks and ports, following after brethren as soon as she heard the tremors, the screeches, the nuances of doom heading straight for them. Because that was who she’d always be – emboldened and audacious, always willing to try, no matter the danger or the cost.
“What the fuck,” she uttered though, as she drew up besides Jack, mouth agape, staring at the Kingmaker. That was all she needed to process the moment, already drawing her bow, and snagging at any icy fixture.
From there, it was only an instant after that she fired, intending to pierce the monster with the elemental arrow.
