“I don’t fucking think so,” she hissed as it came closer and closer, meandering its way towards town, the Honeybee dodging, swindling, swerving amongst the sand. This might’ve been all about timing, fortune, and some amount of kismet, but the youth was going to take it as she always did, grasping and greedy, mercenary and seditious.
Gritting her teeth, clenching her jaw, and grabbing another arrow from her quiver, the youth notched the icy fixture onto her bow’s strand, pulling it back, and releasing it once more. Rinse and repeat. Destruction and damage. Potential and prowess, hoping it’d be enough.
