Not wanting to feel frantic for the disappearing minutes but helpless against the tide of urgency he felt tugging at the balls of his feet, Remi exhales shakily as he moves Isla's hand just ever so slightly toward his lips. He pauses. It didn't make him feel good, or optimistic, or even happy, but..
