It probably explains the way he turns his head, kissing away the crimson streams of blood that coat the Flood's throat, even as he's pinned against the other man for a little longer. "Mm, and he likes to cuddle after? There any downsides to you...?" He wonders with a fanged grin, rolling his shoulder as if to relish the sting of cuts from Sunjata's talons.
Too long like this, though, and he's liable to have a snoozing Ancient in his arms. Which, if that's the Flood's intention, good job.
