"Hungry?" Trinket asked. She hadn't considered the need for food. She often forgot to eat. Eating was boring. Though eventually her body would protest, and she would need to engage in the dull experience of food.

"I should eat," Trinket said with the tiniest nod. "We can keep playing after that."

She turned towards the stalls that dotted the docks. Several small food stands were nearby, offering freshly cooked food for sailors who often had to deal with stale and dried food during their long journeys. The nearest one was selling fried crabs. Trinket walked over to it. She knew from past experience that taking food without permission would lead to someone trying to stop her. The first few times, that had been interesting, but she no longer cared for that game.

Instead, she simply looked at the frying pan sitting over the hot coals on the grill, and commanded it: spill.

The pan knocked itself off the grill, spilling hot grease and half-cooked crab everywhere. While the cook was shouting and struggling to contain the disaster, Trinket took a crab from behind the counter, then walked away.

She began tearing off pieces and eating the fried crab, showing no signs of concern for the taste. Eating was just a chore that had to be done. She would finish it soon, then be back to play.

Being more then happy to have a few moments in order to bing the net down and towards the vendor, giving him a slight smile before she hurried after trinket, trying to, and ultimatively failing, contain the next disaster that was bound to happed with the avatar od destroytion which was waddling in front of her.

And while Freya certainly was on edge, and on the lookout for anyother opportunity that might have ruined someone's day, she wasnt able to foresee what Trinket had planned with the poor vendor, that being to make him spill a good protion of his produce. Freya never had been one for anything that had a shell and was coming out of the seas. After all, ever since she had been cut by a crab, which had had the audacity to actually walk out of its territory and make its way over to her 6 year old counterpart and to pinch her in the leg.

Letting out a silent "...fuck..." under her breath, she wouldnt stop the girls thiefery in broad daylight and instead focused to save as much food as she could, in form of alighning a larger bowl  underneath the spilling pan, managing to catch most of the falling food, before following trinket, giving out to her and asking her: "Listen... are your parent here somewhere?"

After all, someone certainly had to look out for the girl in front of her. There was no way she could have survived her behavior in less friendly surroundings.

Trinket finished her meal and tossed the leftover shell aside, the food already forgotten. She wiped her mouth on her dress, which already showed signs of a number of stains, partially hidden by the dark fabric.

"I don't have parents," she told Freya. "People ask me that a lot. Why would I need parents?"

She looked around, already feeling bored with her meal now behind her. There were always lots of interesting things to do at the docks, though. Perhaps, she thought, she and her new "friend" could find a way to make everyone's lives more interesting.

"Do you want to play another game?" she asked. "We should play a bigger game. One with lots of people."

Her dark eyes scanned the crowds along the docks. There were a lot of ships in port today. Lots of people coming and going, boarding ships, carrying cargo, and making last-minute purchases before their journeys. Surely they could come up with a game that would make things more interesting for each and every one of these people.

They would have the most memorable day of their lives.

"Well maybe so you have someone making sure you are eating well maybe? Maybe someone that can teach you stuffs, you know?" Freya would respond to the question given to her. It was somewhat bewildering to her that the girl traveled without parents. After all, there were many dangers on the road that noone really was able to foresee. But then again, if the girl dealt with those like she was doing here, then she probably was safe anyways. After all, she was on a good path to ruin multiple peoples lives by merely playing a game already, so why not expand upon this?

When the question about another game came up, Freya cursed herself for how little time Trinket had taken in order to get fed. It was amazing to her how the girl was rushing things just to get back to her sociopathic games. "What about you uhm... play with me only? A lot of people dont have the time to play like that, you know? They probably would make poor playmates." Freya would tell the girl in front of her afterwards, hoping to defuse the situation somewhat. After all, she doubted that anyone else woudl enjoy trinkets next few thoughts so she needed to get her attention somewhere else fast.

"They don't have time?"

Trinket looked around. All the people rushing about. Maybe they didn't have time to play today.

"All right," she said. "We can play another day. You're fun to play with."

With that she took her doll by the hand and turned away, dragging the doll along behind her. The doll's porcelain feet made little thumps on the dock as it was dragged along, while Trinket's bare feet barely made a sound. She didn't look back, nor did she even glance at the people around her. She walked in a straight line, never wavering. People stepped out of her way, made their way around her, and let her go on her path. It was as if no one wanted to draw her attention.

The doll, however, continued to stare at Freya the entire time, never blinking, never blinking. And as the sun peeked out from behind the clouds, the rays of light fell upon the doll's porcelain face, reflecting red in the darkness of its eyes. The flash of red in the doll's eyes seemed to drill right into Freya's gaze, a promise of things to come.
