He looked towards Ashe knowing how close they'd been and bit the inside of his lip hard enough to draw fresh blood as he held back a sob. He shook his head. It wasn't worth this, that look seemed to say, as he clawed his way out of the hole.
He cared not at all for the Spire now. He'd not be stopped by anyone who might try to intercept him on his way. Remi had one goal now: to retrieve Aoife and to return to the guildhall.
