Trying not to gasp with relief as his hand is released, Ever makes himself pull it slowly across the table and resists the urge to wipe it against his pants. Mateo had just been in a fight, and surely whoever had bandaged him up had cleaned his hands? And..if not...well, Ever would go and wash them before they started eating anyway.
