She walked over to the construction site, looking around. People moved around her without thinking about it, the tide of people parting for the tiny demigod. They carried tools and rope, wood and glass. They would be building something?
Building meant something new. New was always interesting.
She wandered until she found the person who seemed to be in charge. She stood before Hadama, holding her doll against her chest. Two pairs of glassy black eyes, girl's and doll's, studied the merfolkf for a long moment of silence.
Then she asked, "What are you building?"
Maybe, she thought, she would help. She had never built anything before. It might be a fun game.
