[PQ] The Artist's Sanctuary

Lucas clever as the devil and twice as pretty Hearing out the rest of the introductions from their little guild (apparently) with rudimentary interest, Lucas glanced to Bastien as he spoke with the kind of impatience that his fellow Ascended could certainly appreciate. Indeed, his green eyes widened a fraction as he produced... well, not a violin, not by anyone's standards, but... he could give it a go. Nodding and taking the instrument and the bow in hand, he spent a long few minutes in silence to fuss over it, to preen it and tune it - and it would be tuned, despite its protests. If it was awkward for the rest of the group to wait, Lucas didn't seem to care, and when he was done he struck the strings with the bow and smiled, satisfied. "I think this will do nicely for now," he murmured, sinking to sit back down and beginning to play a few tentative notes, as if finding the flow of the tune. Soon enough he picked up, though, and the future sanctuary was filled with an energetic and vibrant melody. Perfect for dancing.
