HARPER
The schools of fish - and even the gigantic barracuda - are things to marvel at between placing stones. Things he hasn't seen since days of aquariums in other lands unlike this one. Though he still can't touch them (and, in terms of the barracuda, would dearly not want to) there's a wonder that fills him at being in the same waters as them, free of any kind of glass or separation.

Unfortunately he does still have a task to complete aside from gawking at fish and coral, one that is luckily made easier by Hadama's foresight. As he is handed another transport of rocks, Harper grins, grateful for his Attuned abilities. i]Thanks!{/i} Only to move back alongside Kaiden, toiling away like little underwater worker bees.

The stones were placed with great care, and though their color was muted this far below the surface they still gleamed noticeably in the twilit waters. The final section of path was delineated from the end of the red stones all the way to the edges of the Underwater City and the placement of the entry and exit markers. Swimming up a little distance to view it from above, Hadama was impressed at how well the lines of stones showed up and how neatly they had been positioned. Humans and Mer alike would have had no trouble following it if this had been all they'd had to do, but with Safrin's magic added to the mix it was bound to be far more exciting a trip than a simple swim along the seafloor.

This is done well, he praised with satisfaction and pride in his companions. We have reason to be proud. He returned to Kaiden and Harper and inclined his head deeply in gratitude. Thank you. You have earned your payment, and a meal at the Tidepool Bar as well. Emerald eyes twinkled with good humor as a ghost of a smile tilted his lips before he turned and began to lead the way back towards the Port.
