Tal didn't need urging twice. As soon as the companions were moving, so was the courier, falling in beside Sah to keep the little group together until they could make their retreat. Once they'd gotten away from the wind and hail he looked back and swallowed hard at what he'd seen.
"Well... shit. Maybe that's what scared its mama away?" He glanced down at the little luxere who was trembling with what he guessed was fear at all the excitement around it. Boreal snorted and huffed a little fire back towards the elementals as if to say "and stay there," wings mantled to make herself look larger and Tal grinned at her. "Thatta girl."
Looking back to Sah, his grin fell away into a more serious expression which became a scowl as he rubbed at the back of his neck. "But the herd won't come back for it 'long as we're standin' around the little beastie with two wolves an' a dragon," he pointed out, voice uncomfortably gentle as he tried to break the hard truth to the hunter who seemed to have gotten weirdly attached to the little thing already.
