And when he bolts off down the path, instinct snatches the reins from Isla's hands, and she's off after him. Any passing strangers would likely run the other direction to see two big cats engaged in an intense game of chase, but luckily Isla thinks they're alone out here.
So when she catches up to Sunjata enough to bat at his tail, she does so without any care for consequences, even if it means spooking their potential prey.
