Bastien did not mind that it did not last so long, knowing there would be many chances to do it again, ideally in many different ways and for extended periods of time in the future. Besides, he knew if he kissed her too long his hands may be tempted to roam, and that wasn't the kind of mood he was trying to create today.
Though...it became hard to keep those thoughts from his mind as she stood and changed, Bastien not hiding the way his eyes dragged down her body. He had seen it before, had known her intimately, but there was always a fresh pleasure when he could see it again. It was hard to be upset about losing the vision when it was replaced with the gold dress, though, the colour perfectly complimenting her.

Before he laced up the dress he gave in just a little to the desires in his heart and ran a finger down from her neck, over her shoulders, trailing down her back...then raised his hands and laced up the dress. Not too tight; she would need to be comfortable to stay in position and besides, would it be such a loss if it slipped a little?
Once it was done he stepped away, went to his canvas. "It would be best for you sit, I think, cara. However you are comfortable."
