Tal wasn't exactly a party kinda guy. Going to the Flowerbirth Ball had taken most of his social energy for the year, but he had a letter to deliver and though the recipient wasn't at home the neighbors had kindly (more or less) pointed Tal towards the beach. Pulling his broad-brimmed hat down a little further he sweated his way down to the ocean and came across what appeared to be a party in progress.
