Evie at least has the decency to wait for Alys to turn around before sticking her tongue out at Deimos, but it's a very near thing. If it were Noah perhaps she wouldn't have resisted, but best keep the wool over Alys' eyes as long as possible in regards to the juvenility of her new Wardens.The utensils aren't anything fancy, but Evie is both sentimental and bird-minded enough to pocket them regardless. It seems Alys feels the same way, and the Evergreen grins over at her when she sees her doing it. She almost comments until Noah approaches with something in his hands, and the playfulness dissipates so she can give him her full attention.
Grimacing slightly at the question, Evie leans in to investigate the strange markings. "Sam was always the language guy, but I have all his books. We can take it home so I can reference them?" It's not a language she has memorized, but that doesn't mean she won't give a valiant effort for Noah, aided by her brother's collection. It would be up to Noah to determine if he was curious enough to bring it home.
