Let's get one thing straight about George: flirtatious, he was; jealous, he was not. If someone wanted to be with him, then he'd trust them not to stray too terribly far - just as he would hope the same generosity would be extended to him in turn. Drinks now in hand, George raised an eyebrow at Hotaru's compliment, favoring her with a crooked grin. "You'll find I'm full of surprises," he told her as they emerged into the sun. He began to lead the way down the beach towards the tide pool that she had spoken of, strolling leisurely with his arm still loosely about her waist, fingertips barely skimming her bare skin.
