This feels far more private, more intimate, away from prying eyes and liquid courage.
The curtains shift in the wind off the ocean by the open glass doors, and Ru admires the way they dance for a moment to find some sort of calm again. It fits the overall theme of the room she had worked to create, so although unintentional, she leaves the doors open and the curtains free-flowing and instead shifts her focus to Sunjata.
"Did you sleep well?" Her tone is soft. Sincere in her curiosity - or perhaps concern - but unused to expressing it after so long apart. She doesn't ask if he has eaten because he was never one for breakfast that wasn't forced upon him, so instead she holds one wrist with the other hand, clasped in front of her. Refusing to appear off-kilter or graceless despite feeling exactly that way.
