On the Run

The fear in her eyes did not dissipate as the man emerged from her closet and strode over to her, despite his upbeat disposition. She swallowed and shook his hand, her tough light and hesitant. She didn't really want to give him her name, she didn't want to give him any more reason to know who she was to be found again, but what choice did he give her? None, that's what choice.
