By the time Amalia had leaped past the trap and caught the rabbit, the raven was safely ensconced high up in a tree, cawing derogatory comments down upon the growling wolverine that paced angry circled outside his den, though his jay friends had flown off. His friend's call would meet a mind calm and unruffled since her escape to safety - until the raven realized she was returning to the very spot he had tried to keep her away from.
