Kaiden's guide although chatty, wasn't unbearably annoying. For that, the shark was grateful. The woman was even helpful in their quest for the brightest shades of blue. Kaiden decided that she would get a free pass the next time that they wished to bite her.

The work was almost complete, and whispers of it being nearly lunchtime renewed Kaiden's spirit like the sight of a lighthouse upon the eyes of a desperate sailor. Ignoring Andromedia's advice, they focused once more on their blue corals. Meticulously choosing which to go where the mershark set about to create a blue gradient on the reef to match the waves above. Unnecessary, yes. But deeply satisfying for them. And that's what was most important. Kaiden's satisfaction. Everything else was unnecessary.

Kaiden worked their magic on one side of the avenue, placing blue to blue in an artistic gradient that might have been surprising to those that knew them more for brutal honesty and temperamental violence. In this, however, they were deft and careful, and their corals were set in place without further damage.

Likewise Hadama carried his share of the corals on the other side with care and patience, placing each color where Andy directed. King or not, he was content to let the noblemer make the artistic decisions while he provided the muscle. He was proud of his own aesthetic sense but he knew himself well enough to know that he would spend all day coming to a decision and creating a plan, so following Andromeda's pointed finger certainly moved the process along at a much faster pace!

Something that Kaiden was likely to appreciate, since it meant that they finished earlier and that it was time for lunch. Hadama had instructed the palace to prepare a meal for his helpers, and the nets and tables were brought out with a selection of food from the royal kitchens to quench the appetites of the clean-up brigade.

Thank you, the King rumbled as he made his own selections and swam a little off to the side. Everyone. You have done well. And for those who had caused the mess to begin with? Well. They had now atoned for their minor crimes and wiped their slates clean for the new year.
