What was an easy path for the fox was proving treacherous for the Captain. Her lungs burned, her sides ached, and she felt clumsy as she tripped her way through the forest. It was frustrating, knowing that her dexterity would remain compromised until she healed up, yet having to pursue an agile animal through underbrush that usually wouldn’t give her pause. By the time they reached the clearing, she was panting for air, looking truly worse for wear and beyond exhausted. But they weren’t done yet. Ianto held a jar of…something…out to her.
