Were Alys not aware of exactly how strong Deimos was - and Sah, too, apparently - she might have felt ashamed or guilty for not being able to move one of the pillars without assistance. But Evie was happy to help and did so without making Alys feel bad, for which the seer was grateful. It seemed like it took no time at all to secure the pedestals in place in the cement, and then they were given their next set of instructions.
Alys accompanied Evie to the thin, waterproof wood and, concentrating, used her magic to begin to levitate one side up into the air. She worked with Evie, their magics complementing one another, to shift the wood through the air, lining it up in the proper position and settling it into place for the roofers. Once their task was complete, the seer looked to Evie, waiting to see if there was more to be done.

Sah nods, "Of course." Mischief is contagious and he snickers under his breath as Deimos takes a turn. Calling on his fire magic, the Wild Thunder first makes sure that his doodle sets properly. Once it's solid, he carefully spreads his fire. With a hand, he guides a sheet of fire to gently coast above the surface of the cement. He keeps in mind the necessity of letting the material dry evenly but not so fast that it cracks.
Once the cement seems to be set, Sah lets the fire dissipate. Channeling his air magic, he sends a breeze to twirl along the surface, probing for any weak points that need further heat and applying fire as necessary.
Alys is still relatively new to her magic, and Evie can sympathize given how she had refused to work on her own magic for most of her young life to avoid strengthening it, terrified of discovery. It's a strange, pleasant role to fill now, to be the one whose magic is relied upon and fills the gaps where Alys needs the support.
With the cement fully dry, the pillars installed, and the top now on - there's nothing more to do but place the pedestal in the middle and call it a day. Evie calls for help with a few hands to get it safely moved, but it is a meager task at best, more delicacy required than exuberance. Flicking her hair over her shoulder, Evie smiles at their extensive work.
"Fantastic job everyone. The roofers will be here shortly, and then the pedestal will hold the mechanism for the barrier!" Clapping her hands together with a bright smile, Evie releases her compatriots from their duties. "Thank you all for your help! Now, who wants food?" Winking over at Deimos, she wonders if they will notice if she brings them to a particular restaurant; perhaps one she already made reservations at...

Cement dried, pedestals maneuvered, all the pieces melded, molded, and fixed together with strength, precision, and calculated thinking; so the Sword was quite proud and showed it in a wrinkled nose towards the Evergreen. An offer of food was exactly what they likely all needed after utilizing so many efforts, and well-deserved break before disbanding off to their next ventures. Hooking his arm through Evie’s, a turn of his head and hutting of his jawline was all he snagged to beckon the rest of them. “I think we earned it,” on a deeper rumble, mind already calculating portions to devour.
Sah flashes the team a grin, "Food sounds wonderful. Let's go." They've worked hard and the Wild Thunder can feel his stomach growling. Between magical and physical labor, they've all earned a hearty meal. Soon their regional task will be completed, and Halo will be all the safer for it.
The Abandoned might need to come back here once it's complete to check on his doodle. It'll probably be fine, even after Frey activates the barrier. But Sah will still want to make sure. Soleil will get a kick out of it at the very least, though perhaps he shouldn't be setting an example of vandalism. No matter how minor.
