The two men expended their last sessions of healing. Looking around, Noah realized just how far that had come. The house he and Cordelia had fixed up at the beginning of Deepfrost was just a stone’s throw away.
Noah smiled, big and broad, enough so that it reached the corners of his eyes. ”I appreciate you helping out, even though this is kind of weird.” He admitted. ”But I think I’m more thankful for you taking flowers to Cordelia. She’ll really like that.” Noah clapped his hand on Talyson’s shoulder despite how grimy his hands were. ”Oh, sorry about that.” He said. ”No cleaning magic, unfortunately.” He chuckled some.
”Come back to my place to get dry and have a warm drink before you head out. I’m just over here.”
