And yet. Remi returns from the bow of the houseboat, eyeing the island with growing apprehension. With his wings splayed from his sides and his gaze shifted to try and spy any movement on the violet mass ahead of them, eventually, he calls a silent halt that Ronin should cease his towing. Close enough. I'd rather not have to repair her hull again if a wave bashes her against the island.

So saying the alchemist takes to the skies, having to put significant effort into flying through the winds that wanted to spin him around and drag him down into the sea. I will just have a quick look and see if there is any reason to go deeper in. Hovering for a moment, the Lullaby steps foot on the island with his breath held as if waiting for the porous stone beneath his foot to suddenly belch, grow teeth, and try and swallow him whole. When nothing of the sort happened, Remi straightened and looked around. Stealth was often not the predatory choice he opted for, though given the completely unknown nature of what might might be lingering, the Lullaby did not roar his presence as he might normally have done. Instead, he swept the shadows around himself as an early defense before casting one last look over his shoulder toward the Northaven before venturing onward.
