From being an Abandoned who had rarely left the Hollowed Grounds, to embracing the call of adventure, to dying and being reborn first as an Ascended and then as an Ancient, Maea has gone through quite the amount of changes in her life. One thing remains common, though, in her attempts to find out just where she belongs; she’s always had a craving for knowledge which has brought her to so many places and to meet so many people here in Caido. We can’t wait to see what else is in store for her!

Evie's heart jumps when the walls crack evermore, but Deimos' magic is there to wind through and around her own, stabilizing it enough to prevent catastrophe. It doesn't leave her particularly comfortable with remaining in the area however, and she abides her husband's words with a brisk nod of her head and the continuing of her footsteps deeper into the caverns.
Noah's voice calls her back, and though she can't clearly see whatever has caught his eye (or perhaps the other way around?) her ears prick with urgency at his tone, and though it's more instinct than logic given he's a capable demigod, her hand extends toward him in a sharp gesture. "Come away from it," she urges, preferring distance from both the cracks and whatever other danger he may have encountered.

Evie proceeds ahead, then urges Noah to move away from the cracks and eyes both to the safer area (just in case).

Sah
The instability of the walls here was apparent and Sah nodded swiftly, "Good idea." They'd managed to stabilize it but it wasn't worth the risk to stay. The Wild Thunder was placing the last of his collected stones in the cart when Noah called out. Turning, his eyes locked onto the eyes.
"Fucking hell, what is that?" Magic surged beneath his skin, and Sah moved just close enough to Noah to activate it. The eyes were directly under the man and that was far too close for the Wild Thunder to ignore. A golden aura came to life, surrounding the Demi-god, "The light is mine." He didn't want his friend to mistake the protection for a threat.

Sah gets ready to move on and activates Mage Armor on Noah.
Magic: Mage Armor | Sah may give himself or someone else (within 5 ft of him) energy-based armor that defends damage equal to Sah's basic-magical attack stat. Lasts for 1 round.

Already walking ahead, he could hear the Evergreen's warnings – granting and giving him pause as he dragged the sled to a halt. He only rounded back as Sah and Noah persisted, granting Evie a glance of confusion, before advancing slightly back towards the others – the arch of his brow ever inclined. Given the distractions, it seemed none of them would be collecting any rock or rubble at this juncture – perhaps best to see what was going on. “What did you find?”
But neither Forsaken nor Thunder would discover the eyes attacking, assaulting, or anything of the slightest. Instead, they remained frozen and open – staring endlessly into nothing. In fact, upon Noah’s insight and calculations, he’d realize they were human - blue and barren, lifeless.

Noah has found the remains of an old cannibal’s hunt! Neat!
No post order. Probably best to move along, but please note your character’s actions for the next round.

Noah blinked as he looked down and saw a flash of something that made his stomach turn. Eyes looking up at him and his own body, crouched on the ice, banging and screaming and clawing and his father's eyes looking up at him. Warm light surrounded him as Evie's words hit his ears and Noah's heart surged into his throat.
He blinked again.
It was a mix of realization and a hint of PTSD that made Noah step off from overtop the frozen body. "Nothing." He said quickly, gathering up the last of his gathered ore to put in Deimos' sled as he quickly moved away from it. "A body in the ice. Dead. I don't know them." His voice was darkened, and the shadows behind the glacier pools now were covered in the trauma of the Core's illusions. He looked towards Deimos from the corner of his eyes, the attuned bond pulsing with the dark grey trauma, knowing that the Sword would understand.
"Let's keep going." Noah said, though he stayed closer to the Sword now as he readied his pick axe to gather more rocks.
Noah relives some trauma and then plans to stay closer to his friends while they mine.
Evie shudders at the news Noah shares, recalling her own foray into cannibal caverns and found crates full of people. People who had lives and families and dreams. Though this person is long dead - but not long enough to be indistinguishable - Evie still says a silent prayer, and gently touches Noah's elbow out of habit as he passes by, needing to reassure herself that everyone is present and accounted for in a strangely mother-hen compulsion she's not used to having.
Moving on from the discovery silently, Evie returns to Deimos and gives him a faint smile as she finds a section of stone further from the others, not wanting to cause any more cracks by mining too closely. The sound of her pickax comes intermittently, only needing it occasionally between bouts of earth magic and telekinesis.

Evie moves past the others and deeper to begin mining with magic again.

Sah relaxed only fractionally when nothing happened, only releasing his tense muscles when Noah explained what he was looking at. He had come to Caido only after the cannibals had already been defeated so he was unaware of just what the unspoken words in the air were, but he could certainly detect their presence on the faces of his companions. Perhaps he'd ask once they were done with their mission.
There was nothing left for them in this section, so the Wild Thunder followed along to the next stretch of cavern. Scanning the walls he found a suitable location and let his magic spread across his fingertips. Satisfied, he called forth earth and telekinesis to continue the harvest.

Sah moves to the next spot and starts mining with earth and telekinesis again!

Noah’s actions, and the rush of emotions spiraling through the attuned bond, assured Deimos not to press the issue. Having endured his own perils and roles with the cannibals, the understanding flickered, before his eyes hastened to gaze upon the sight, and then move on. There’d be no point in peeling the form away from the ice nor hastening it towards a swift, ignited burial of flames; he merely clenched his jaw and followed the Evergreen’s path.
Evie’s chosen section of stone was more than enough, and lacked any cracks in crevasses already. Between her use of earthen wares, the Forsaken’s axe, Sah’s mining, and the Sword’s own hastened incantations, the rocks pulled from this particular surface gave them plenty of supplies.
Checking over the vessel once they’d filled it, he nodded, content with the arrangement. “Job well done. I think we are all set. Thank you for all the help.” Thereafter, they could safely assure nothing else was coming loose, or undone, and begin to travel home.
