And so she lets him brood, a silent soldier beside her King as they march their way to true and absolute safety. But there’s a question burning on her mind – that if she heard Ru’in and he heard someone else, who was that someone? She bites on her lip gently, squeezing his arm in an attempt to soothe him like herself, to tell herself that he’s there and with her, a part of it all.
