The spark and sizzle of amiability brushed against her senses, and she grinned again, turning her head over her shoulder to find Vai and Felix behind her. “Of course!” A wink extended across her left eye, and then she twisted back, lowering her stance again to hopefully secure another sack into one of the farther-away holes. Remain grounded she told herself again, especially now that she had an audience, and she imagined herself growing roots through the soil, stable and stationary, not a leaf guided on the wind or a seed blown into the mist. The sack sailed once more, landing just short of the hole, but momentum and force must’ve carried it just enough for it to bound into the aperture. Her smile was a beatific, lissome grace as she shifted back towards Vervain and her newborn.

“Would you like to try?” Another pouch laid in her palm, eager and fervent, yearning to be utilized for the silly sport. Before anything else could be considered though, another voice sprung through the air, calling out her name. She glanced and found Lily, a fellow redhead, scarlet and vibrant, parading towards them, and the tranquil, serene feeling of being surrounded by friends was such a raw blessing, Melita couldn’t help crying back out to her. “Lily!” She continued coming, intrigued by the entertainment at hand, and the honeybee child wandered back up to the boards and the drawn line. “Watch, I’ll show you!”

She demonstrated again, steadfast and strong, aiming for the farthest hole. Her arm reached back, and then her assail was drawn as she lifted her arm up. The sack flew, landed with a thunk, then fell back into the hole. Hm. Her accuracy still needed some work. But then she was back at Lily’s side with a quick, swift stride, placing one of the many bags into her hands. “Give it a shot!” Her excitement and energy was a palpable, tangible thing, wired and twisted and floating into the sanction, imploring her companions to join her in merriment.
