Running one hand up his arm and letting his eyes drift down awkwardly as Sam continued to shower him in compliments, the alchemist shrugged an agreeable sort of gesture. In another place and time the alchemist would have suggested Sam experiencing it for himself. Perhaps there could be a way to block the effects of Sam's bite...or...if he was able to siphon his blood out, somehow? Glancing up, his gaze only brushing Sam's for a moment, Remi tried to still the way his heart had suddenly began to beat faster, the mere thought of Sam's teeth against him and all that that entailed having a rather undesirable effect.
"Yes, of course." Remi managed through lips suddenly gone quite dry. Licking them he smiled and nodded to make up for the strange gap.

You did not chose your shift. It simply something that was given to you. It chose you, so we thought. But no one ever had any more than one shift. So here...these new things I can be...truthfully I do not know where it comes from."
