Well this was....not going according to plan.

Are seemed either uncertain of the plan or unwilling to follow it. Luckily though, his actions didn't appear to be impeding their progress. Not yet anyways. Sam's whereabouts still bothered the alchemist, but if Remi couldn't see him that probably meant the golem couldn't either. Likely he'd just run using his superhuman ascended speed. Or so he thought, until he saw a floating coppery head and a hand waving at him. The only thing that Remi could think in that moment was that Sam had bitten someone else. How else would he possess the ability to make parts of his body invisible? Though it wasn't fair at all, Remi found the idea sat unhappily in his mind.

However as Caleb began to nip at the stony heels of the creature, the hawk's mind brandished the thoughts. Weaving and bobbing around hands that tried to grab for him, Remi tried to lead the creature down the path Sam was making. However distracted by Are's pillar, the golem diverted from their course and instead made a bee-line for the cobbler.
