Ghost Whale Hunting Expedition

As many of you might have noticed, there is an extremely aggressive pod of ghost whales who have been attacking merchant and fishing vessels. Ronin and I will be setting sail tomorrow morning to try and lure the pod away, or otherwise deal with them.

Assistance is welcome, safety is not guaranteed.

Festival of Floating Lanterns
To Be Held On the Night of the New Moon
On the Beach East of the Port

In honor Ludo and Mort and the souls of those lost in the last year - both ashore and at sea - and to remember those who have passed in seasons before, a Floating Lantern Party will be held on the beach three nights from now. Lanterns will be provided, as will supplies for making and decorating your own.

Air Quality

As many have seen, the air quality over Haulani is still rather poor. Our abandoned are doing what they can with their magic. I have been told that their efforts combined with natural winds and air currents should have the air clear within a week or so.

However should anyone be experience symptoms related to the air, please find a healer.

After speaking with Maru, Luminary of the Merfolk, and with the passing of our previous governor, the merfolk have agreed to allow us into their underwater home. In an effort to do the same, I will be asking Safrin for a system of canals so that our underwater neighbours have access to all Torchline has to offer.

If you would like to be present, please join us at whatever date and time, after dusk, by the lighthouse.

NEW SHRINE

There is now a shrine to the new gods in addition to the old gods in this land. This will bring no harm to the region. We simply wished to give everyone who wanted it the choice to worship as they pleased.
