Still, it sparks a low hum of a laugh from him when she says they suit each other, allowing her to untangle from his embrace as he settles back to give her space. “Yeah. I think we do, too.” He admits, even if at times it felt like they suited each other a bit too much.

Even still, the genuine smile she offers him relieves some previous tension he hadn’t realized was there, a factor that has him settling a bit easier, breathing a bit lighter, even if it already looked like the weight of the world had been lifted from his shoulders after so many years of letting it beat him down. “Are you feeling a bit better?” He asks curiously, wanting to ensure that she was at least fine before he felt okay about it enough to depart.
