The sigh that leaves Dahlia is one that has her shoulders slumping, and she drops to crouch before the last barrel of whiskey as if wondering whether it was worth the effort of the charade to get to try it. "That's where you're wrong," she murmurs, rising back up from the barrel and tilting her head to him, a smile playing across her lips that would better fit a cat on the hunt for a mouse.

Drawing closer, now it's Dahlia's turn to get up in Sunjata's space, peering up at him with cerulean eyes that almost seem to glow in the dim light. "But it's also where this went wrong for you. You need to start wearing a more cautious hat, Sunjata."
Reaching out soft hands to press them against his chest, her fingers flex just so, as if testing the resistance of the flesh and muscle and bone beneath. "Any other place than this and you might have stood a chance. But here?" She shakes her head. "What were you hoping would happen?"
