It’s a boon that gets his feet under him sluggishly, running those hands back through his hair with a heavy exhale, drawing the jacket around his shoulders tightly as he draws up to his mostly full height, hunched slightly as his dark gaze focuses on anything but the Maverick, lingering on the deer he didn’t even get to enjoy.
