She unwraps herself from him to let him stand, hauling herself to her feet as well. “Of course. I’ll see you soon.” She murmurs, reaching out to squeeze him and give one look back toward the luxere before she turns to leave, turning back before she makes the break in the tree line. “I love you.” She says it like a reminder, before she steps out.
And she does as he asks, once she’s cleaned herself up. Warm clothes are folded and set somewhat close to the fire so it’ll be warm as can be by the time he arrives, and tea is made nice and hot, and she waits by the window like a dog waiting for him to come home.
