Sensing that Koa wanted to bury his feelings with purpose, Zavien sat and crossed his arms, focusing on the conversation. His snacks and coffee sat forgotten in front of him. They were dealing with formidable opponents and who knew how deep their reach stretched? His heart raced at the possibility that anyone could be in league with the Family and the spread of the Void. Who would be so disturbed as to think that inviting these people in was a good thing?
He looked between Lena and Koa, taking note to pay close attention to Anju and Everest. When they turned to him, he was more than ready to offer assistance. "I'll do my best to see what I can find from the inside of the Dragoons. If they're hiding something, maybe I can figure out what." The idea that his childhood idols could possibly be corrupt is more than a little unnerving. His gut instincts were often reliable when he was young, and Zavien hoped that they would continue to help him in discerning who to trust within the guild. It gave him no joy to consider spying on them, but they were supposed to be loyal and honorable. He wouldn't allow them to be influenced by Dahlia or her accomplices.
Lena and Zavien seemed to have their assignments, so he asked Koa, "What will you do?" Would he try to look for Sohalia? He didn't think it was a good idea, however, it had obviously hit the man hard and he wasn't sure if he would be able to do much else.
