Considering her reasoning, Zavien laughed in return, throwing his head back in amusement. "Fair enough. They're not the most nurturing bunch." He thought about their screaming and grabby hands while they 'coordinated' attacks against him. It definitely wasn't conducive to healing. Maybe being under Lena's caring tutelage they would improve. Smiling, he looked back at Ava and Aiden. "I will be sure to limit the trips to pairs." It was an agreement and promise all the same. He was actually looking forward to spending time amongst the flora and fauna of the Celestine.
As Lena reached for her own snack, Zavien did the same, taking a bite of the peanut butter chocolate and letting it melt in his mouth. His smile still peaked around the chewing and talking as he said, "I always thought plants were only good for seasoning food. Apparently, I have much to learn. Would you be willing to have a third student during your lessons? I promise I'm a good student." It wasn't a lie even if his old teachers wouldn't necessarily agree. He had never been good at math or reading (it was hard when the numbers and letters danced on the paper), but he was a quick study when it came to practical skills and knowledge. The twinkle in his eye said as much while he took another bite of his treat.
