He was adamant about Dahlia being a fine leader. This, more than anything so far, catches Koa off guard, the Dragoon's brow furrowing in confusion. And if Ever has stayed out of belief in the Reaper, he can only assume Anju has, too, which begs the question... what if they're wrong? What if this has been a misunderstanding, and Dahlia is not their enemy at all? She'd been perfectly charming when Koa met her, and if Anju seemed to trust her, then...
Koa leans against the table, knuckle white as he grips its edge. "I have to talk to Anju." It's muttered to himself more than the others, accompanied by a disbelieving shake of his head. "There has to be an explanation." He looks up at Lena. "What did she say, when she took over? Or after?" Dahlia, he means.
As for what Koa will do? "I've been staying in Torchline for now." He pauses, swallowing, clearly struggling with what to say. "It's... I don't think it's safe for me to come back yet. Not if he's still here." A shiver courses through him, fear casting a pallor on his handsome face. Mustering a weak smile, he tries to shake it off. "But it's fine- this way I can try to gather allies. I'm going to go to King's End soon, to talk to Sunjata. Stormbreak isn't alone."
