[SWE] OH MY GOURD [SEASONAL EVENT]

attack of the gourds You're walking in the woods There's no one around And your phone torchlight is dead Out of the corner of your eye you spot them Vampire Gourds There's blood in the trees. Oh gods, there's blood everywhere. They make a sound like chittering laughter, and sweet Safrin but they're fast for pumpkins. You spot them sometimes, carved eyes fiendishly aglow in the undergrowth, rictus grins ready to consume. One lumbers at you - for it can only lumber and hop, given that it has no limbs - and your ankles are soon to be a snack for this abominable squash. What do you do? What IS there to do? Panicked, your foot crashes down upon the fleshy globe gnashing at your feet. It shrieks as the weight of your step smashes it to pulp and seeds. It doesn't smell half bad, actually. Ripe. Oh. That was easy. WELCOME to Court of the Fallen's very first Seasonal Event, folks! <3 This event will run until the end of Leafchange (January 1st). Should your character complete the event, they will receive +1 to a stat of your choice! How do you participate, you ask? Easy peasy! NOTE: All three requirements must be met to complete the event. Multiple characters can participate, but the threads do not carry across! (I.E. Both characters must complete all three threads to gain +1 stat each). 1. Participate in a thread detailing how your character dispatches one (or more) of these fiendish pumpkins. Creativity is encouraged! 2. Participate in a thread where your character decides to use one of the creatures in a recipe. Mmm, delicious demon gourd! Is it a delicacy? Who knows! Who cares! 3. Participate in a thread where your character plays with a gourd! How does that work? You tell me. Please include {SEASONAL EVENT} somewhere in your thread title, especially if you make an open thread! The gourds are yours to control - there's no need to use the NPC account for this event, or wait for Random Events for them to appear. (That's not to say you won't get hit with an RE, though...) Once you've met the above requirements, respond to this SWE in your OOC account, giving links to your threads and telling us which character and which stat you'd like to increase!
