He’s too busy looking out over the side of the Last Step to see her glance to him, the question instead bring a soft snort to his lips. “No, not usually. I’ve fit quite a few people on my back as a dragon.” He offers, looking back over toward her to feel the brief moment of longing, letting the confusion in him linger but not share across with her, instead watching as she continues her sketch, hoping that it might distract him enough from letting her shyness and longing bring comments off the mark from his lips.
Luckily, it’s an easier question to answer, and he hums as he tilts his head up to think on it, scanning the clouds that pass over them through the sky. “Ten, I think.” He pauses, tilting his head back down to her. “Ten so far. Sometimes they’ve just shown up without me realizing it.” He used to think it was a gift from Safrin – and while it might have been once upon a time, it were those shifts that hadn’t been taken from him when he’d had Safrin burned out of his bones.
“I have the macaw, a panther, a nyala, an orca, a bat, a cobra, a dog, the dragon, and the pegasus.” He lists them all off, making a mental check list that he crosses off with each one as he flashes her an easier smile. “The dragon can breathe lightning and the pegasus can summon water, not unlike the magic Frey gifted me with when I became their demigod. Suppose it’s in the name, though.” He trails off – because he is known throughout Caido. He’s the Flood.

Feel free to use magic/force on Sunjata, without killing him <3
Sunjata speaks with an Australian accent and has a passive magic that makes him produce a subtle scent that matches exactly to whatever those around him most desire him to smell like.
