What do you get when two ruthless assassins raise their daughter travelling through the wildest reaches of Caido? Take one look at Theea and you'll get a pretty good idea. Cheerful and tenacious in equal measure, and curious beyond all else, she began her journey on a mission to find those her mother once called family. And find them she did, soon rubbing elbows with demigods, leaders and even ghosts from the past. Her determination is resolute, her thirst for knowledge unmatched. We can't wait to see where her next adventure takes her!
Congratulations, Theea!

It has not been long since Asta had met with Dygra to turn in the shrine, but he thinks it’s only fair if he’s the one to break it in. It feels powerful with all of the sleek chaotic beauty that he’d hoped it would upon viewing it post activation, and the butcher finds it incredibly difficult to keep the grin off his face.
Stepping up to the shrine, the cane rests against the smooth side of it, hand lowering to slice on a jagged piece so that it would bubble blood to the surface. He clenches his hand to let the blood flow along the edge of the shrine, letting it drip in beautiful swaths of scarlet before he bows his head.
“I know it has not been long since we last spoke, my Dark Lady, however I was hoping that you may be willing to help me with something to continue thriving in your name.” He waits to see if he feels her presence, hope glimmering in his chest.
Asta for Dygra!! If he doesn’t roll for a quest can I use MP? <33
As the harbinger of this brand new shrine, it only seems right that Astaroth is the first to properly dedicate himself to Dygra within it. The moment his blood touches the slab of obsidian the entire room will appear to grow heady with warmth, the walls and flagstones rippling, and Asta will feel it right down to his bones as the goddess's presence hums to life in the space.
"You are always welcome at my altar, sweet butcher," she purrs, each ruby and gemstone seeming to pulse with the candour of her voice. "Speak freely of what you desire. This space is eager to hear it."

He can feel it the second his blood spreads against the shrine. Warmth and belonging envelopes Astaroth, the rubies and walls rippling with the power of his great goddess. He loosens an immediately relaxed breath, lifting his head to view the room as a whole, to see his goddess in all the ways of the shrine she chooses to show herself (the glittering rubies that bring about her voice).
“Thank you.” He starts, his pleasantries foremost before he’s collecting the cane and lifting it in both hands, like an offering of sorts. “It has been an age since I had a good quality cane, and I was hopeful that we may be able to expand on it?” Letting his dark gaze drift down from the rubies and candles to the cane in question. “Perhaps we might make it bladed, but upon activation it becomes a serrated whip?” A button would suffice, he thinks, to split the blade into sharp serrated pieces that are still relatively flexible, but he’s open for his goddess’ beautiful mind and capabilities.
Though Dygra remains a faceless and disembodied presence within the sanctity of the shrine, Asta might feel a silken caress across his hands as they offer the cane, as if to examine the existing weapon, or a gentle, warm pressure against his lower back as if to encourage him to step closer to the altar. "What a delightfully wicked idea," she croons; phantom fingers stroke across the butcher's cheeks, before withdrawing at last. The room settles somewhat.
"A little something from you, dark boy, a little something from me, and we will see your vision come to life."
Asta has received a quest! He must:
1. Complete a thread mining ore from The Climb in a metal of his choice. This will form the body of the cane.
2. Complete a thread smelting and smithing the ore into small, bladed pieces. (He can do this himself or visit a blacksmith to do it for him).
3. Complete a thread killing something and bathing the metal pieces in the blood.
4. Complete a training thread using a whip.
He will receive:
Threaded Cane | A metal walking cane which, at the press of a button, breaks into conjoined shards to form a serrated whip. The range of the whip is 10ft. Should the cane be used as a weapon on its own, it will only ever do Basic damage.

It’s a gentle and soft caress that first greets his hands, then his lower back, and he does indulge in Dygra’s prompting, stepping closer to the shrine and relishing in the warmth and affection as he can tell the cane is being inspected. “I, too, thought so.” He beams, grin widening.
It remains, even as he feels her withdraw once she’d touched his cheeks, and as the instructions are given and her own announcement of a combination of themselves, he couldn’t feel more whole. “I am eternally grateful.” He hums, inclining his head in a bow again, committing the instructions to heart before he feels Dygra depart and he, once again, feels whole and warm as he steps away — cane clicking against the floor of the Temple as he departs (even more grateful he doesn’t have to venture to the Black Lake).
